Once again, I am trying to "wrap" my head around this. Cheri and I went to grade school together and then to SSHS. We reconnected as educators for FWCS. She will be remembered for her smile, her giving nature and our fun bus trips to Chicago at Christmas time. Condolences go to her family, may the happy memories help them through the rough times!

I have had her memory on my mind for many days.....high achool together....neighbors for many many years after we each married. Lynda Soucie & I surprised her & painted her kitchen YELLOW! while she was in the hospital giving birth to Neal....our kids all went to high school together...the boys played sports together....our 3 girls took dance lessons together for many years....she & Neal went with me & my daughter Julie to check out Hanover College and both decided to attend....and it goes on and on.....Life seems short as I reflect on the years of our connections. Lots of fond memories....Sending prayers and deep condolences to her family. May she Rest In Peace. 💙💐<>>

I am really sad to read about Cheryl's passing, and to remember how lovely her parents and birth family were. They had a lively fun home that I visited when we were grade school kids. Then we joined Junior League when teaching here in Ft Wayne and took our classes every Monday night. Bless your memories of her, Ed and children. Julie R. Waterfield

Cheri taught both my daughters at Harrison Hill and I taught her two boys Latin at Wayne High School. My girls very much enjoyed their Mrs. Kinnerk's class and her love of cows! Cheri inspired a lot of fun and learning. She was missed on The Hill when she left.Kay L. Wollman (Bailey)
So very sorry to hear of Cheri's passing...we go way back to high school...then taught together years ago at Harris Elementary...years passed and then she was my mother 's roommate when she was rehabbing at Coventry Meadows...she watched over my mom!...over the years we would run into each other and catch up...usually at a hospital 😔...she will be remembered for her smile...laugh and caring personality...great lady!
