I am so sorry to hearing of Kay's passing.  She was a good friend in high school and I always remember her quiet, reserved demeanor which masked a lovely, kind and gracious person who would do anything for you.  My thoughts and prayers are with Bill and Kay's family.  May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Kay. She taught school with my mother at South Wayne. My mother thought the world of her.

Kay and I went to Irwin together for about a year. Did you know she won a look alike contest? It had to do with the picture of the girl on the Sunbeam Bread Package. Kay was every bit as cute as the girl on the package. I think I had a little hero worship at the time.

I did not expect to see that Kay had passed away, very disheartening. Kay and I go all the way back to the fourth grade at Harrison Hill along with home room at South. Just a few years ago my wife and I were in Fort Wayne and met Kay and her husband for a fun lunch. She was just the same as all those years ago, accusing me of getting her hooked on McDonald's French fries (true) in trouble during home room (also true) and much more. We only saw each other a handful of times as adults, but always picked up like it was just yesterday. She was a really good friend all through school, those type of friendships are rare and worth remembering. I will remember Kay as a special person and miss her.
