Does our Website Have a Future??

Dear Classmates,

We hope this message finds you well! As you know, since 2008, our class website has served as a central hub for sharing news, planning reunions, and staying connected. Over the years, it has been a valuable resource for keeping our community informed and engaged.

However, maintaining the site comes with both costs and responsibilities, and we want to ensure it continues to serve the needs and interests of our class. To help determine the best path forward, We are reaching out to gather your thoughts on how we can improve the site and how you’d like to stay connected with one another.

Your feedback is important and will help shape the future of our online presence. Whether you visit the site regularly or occasionally, your input is valuable in deciding whether we continue with the website, explore alternatives, or make changes to better meet the needs of our class.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this brief survey. Your insights and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You must be a member to submit this survey. If you are a member please log in first. You can't submit this form until you've logged in.

* Answer Required
1)   * Do you use the class website to stay connected?

2)   * Have you had trouble logging into the website due to forgotten email or password?

3)   * How would you prefer to receive reunion announcements and updates? (check all that apply)

4)   * Would you be interested in learning a simplified process to reset your email or password for the class website?

5)   * We used to have the threaded Message Forum, which works/appears in a similar way to Facebook comments. Are you interested in us turning the Message Forum back on?

6)   * The single biggest boost to the website and its biggest bonding element is the Class Profile Questions. Would you be interested in having a few more questions added to bring our Profiles up to date?

7)   * There is little point in maintaining this website if classmates do not use it. What would make the website more appealing, what would you like to see on the website, and what would make classmates more interested in utilizing the website?

8)   * Research tells us that fresh content on the Home Page keeps class websites vital and active. How frequently would you like to see new content added?

9)   * Our class graduated with about 635 classmates. We have 309 classmates who originally signed up but only 128 who have filled out Profiles. About 90 classmates log on each month when we post an "In Memory" stating that we have lost a classmate. Do you think it is worth maintaining the website solely for posting the deaths of our classmates?

10)   * The Class Website continues if we have a significant interest in staying connected. Surveys such as this are good indicators of Class interest. The last survey about the reunion was sent to 300 classmates. What percentage of Respondents would indicate a significant interest in maintaining the website and continuing reunions?

11)   * Our last survey was sent to 300 classmates, and only 14 responded. If survey responses are a valid predictor of how committed the class is to staying connected, and since we have such a low return rate, would you continue to maintain the class site and plan reunions if you were the administrators? Why or why not?

12)   * Do you have any other thoughts, suggestions, comments, constructive criticism, or questions about the Class Website?
