CHERYL A. HUGUENARD OBITUARY


CHERYL A. HUGUENARD, 71, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at her home. Born Dec. 2, 1945, in Kankakee, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Durgan) Klenzack. She married Dr. Ronald D. Huguenard on Oct. 22, 1977, in Fort Wayne; he survives in Auburn. She was the office manager and secretary for the office of Dr. Ronald D. Huguenard for 23 years, retiring in 2000. Cheryl was an associate with the County Line Church of God in rural Auburn. Also surviving are four step-daughters, Beth Petigrew and Karen (Steve) Palumbo, both of Auburn, Susan (Jack) Lewis of Baroda, Mich., and Ann Huguenard of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Paul (Jane) Klenzack of Fort Wayne; sister, Ann (Doug) Krohn of Palo Alto, Calif.; six step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. Jennifer A. Hammerstein (Sorg)

I was not aware of Cheryl’s passing.  She grew up near me and I remember her brother Paul as well.  She always kept in touch at reunion time and we would catch up.  Sorry...may she RIP. 🙏💞

I knew Cheryl since kindergarten. She was a good friend and a great gal. Often thought of her over the years. God bless her and keep her close.
