Sad to see another classmate has departed, but our group is at that stage. Sadder to see all who passed on much earlier, missing the years that the rest of us have experienced - hopefully in a good way.  As I have commented previously, my being in Africa for a year with my parents in 1961-2 led to my shift from the '63 class to '64, so David is another '64 alumn that I don't recall having known.

But it is nice to see in his profile that he enjoyed Florida (I'm shivering from a stretch of Fort Wayne winter weather here in north Georgia now...) and that he had a good career in the food industry. It is easy to take for granted the nice facilities that provide plenty of good food. I had an uncle in Fort Wayne who managed aRoger's market, and now a freind here who owned and managed to grocery a few minutes from my home. Managing a grocery is not an easy task, for a variety of reasons.  We like to read of the "celebrities" in our grad class and school, but it is people like David who have really provided the quality in our mainstream daily lives.

Dave or David (called him both through the years) and I were friends from KG through HS, as I remember, Abbett, Southern Heights, back to Abbett, Guyer Junior High, before South Side in our Sophomore years.  Never in contact after SSHS.  I experienced David as always friendly, good smile, played some pick-up ball, maybe intramurals-was a bit taller than I, Detroit Tigers fan, especially enjoyed when they were in the World Series.  Veteran honors to you Dave, and God rest your soul.  Thank you to those who report in.  Love-All Blessings, /t
