I was a friend of Byron's. We played some poker together at another friend's house when we were young. Sorry to hear of his passing. Good memories.Nancee S. Lougheed
Dear Class,
We owe the above Obituary posting to Roberta Nottingham. She shared with me how it was that she came to find it. I thought is was such an interesting story that I asked Roberta's permission to share it with you, and I am grateful that she agreed:
Nancee:
Linda M. Welch Bailey posted on his memorial page that he died as a result of a massive heart attack and had listed the names of his two children. Because of what Linda had posted, I was able to confirm I had the right Byron Fromm. I had a special interest in Byron because he was "going" with my sister in 1962 when she was killed in an automobile accident and I had to give him back his ring she was wearing.
Roberta
When I asked Roberta if she would share a little bit more about her Sister, she wrote this, which I think reflects positively on Byron, and belongs here with other memories of him :

Bryon was in my home room class. He was quiet and just a good person
