Gary went to St. Paul's Lutheran School with me for his elementary years. He was a such a nice classmate with a friendly smile for everyone. I especially liked it when we played softball on the school playground, and I was on Gary's team. More than once he was able to hit home runs, and the outfielders couldn't tag him out at home. But the best of his home runs came when the ball sailed through the window of our school twice!! No one could even attempt to throw him out then!!
