After graduating from Indiana University, Larry taught social studies several years in Columbus, Indiana. He married and had two sons. He changed careers and became a specialist in personnel management. He lived in Pennsylvania and Kansas before settling and working in the Washington, D.C. area. He survived one bout with cancer but passed away a number of years later in May 1995 after the cancer returned.
Larry loved being around people and had many friends.
