Terry went to grade school at John S. Irwin. Although I was ahead of him by a semester, we were in the same classroom one year, mixed 3rd & 4th grade. The art project was to draw a cartoon picture of what we wanted to be when we grew up. Most of us had no idea what we wanted to be, so we just drew a picture of something we knew we could draw reasonably well. Terry drew a very good picture of someone in a white lab coat. We all thought he wanted to be a scientist, but what he really wanted to be was a pharmacist. We were impressed - most of us didn't even know what a pharmacist was. I always wondered if he actually became one. I hope he held on to his dream, whatever it was.
