TERRY S. DIERKES, 63, of St. Paris, Ohio, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, 7:30 a.m., at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Born Jan. 13, 1946, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Jack and Harriet Dierkes. He married Minda Espana on Jan. 16, 1996; she survives in St. Paris. He was a 1965 graduate of South Side High School, Fort Wayne. He received an Associates degree from the Mechanic School at Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Navistar as an inspector. Also surviving are four children, Carmen Dierkes of Fort Wayne, Zack Dierkes of Sidney, Ohio, Earl Buena, and John Buena of St. Paris; three grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Anita Dierkes of Angola. Funeral services is 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with visitation two hours prior to service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Paul Baker of St. Paris Church of the Nazarene
